What type of vehicle is recommended for driving to Tsek Hot Springs?
Most two-wheel vehicles and RVs can travel the In-SHUCK-ch Forest Service Road. However, please be advised that passenger vehicles must have winter tires for driving BC’s highways between October and March.
Can Tsek Hot Springs accommodate my RV with full hook-up service?
RVs are welcome, but we have no water or power hook-ups, and no pump-out facilities. The closest full hook-ups are located in Whistler and Squamish. See: About Camping at Tsek Hot Springs
Can we reserve a campsite at Tsek Hot Springs campground?
All campsites are on a first come, first served basis. We cannot accept reservations.
Are campfires permitted?
All campfires must be within the fire circle provided at each drive-in campsite. Campfires are permitted unless weather and conditions necessitate a ban by Provincial wildfire authorities.
Are there facilities for garbage and recycling?
It is the responsibility of the visitor to pack out all refuse. Tsek Hot Springs and campground has no trash receptacles. We ask that you pack out everything you pack in. Thank you for only leaving footprints during your stay.
Is firewood available?
Firewood is available for purchase from the campground caretaker at Tsek Hot Springs gatehouse for $10 per wheelbarrow.
Is drinking water available?
Yes, drinking water can be obtained from the three taps located in the campground. As a precaution, we recommend boiling the water for one minute.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed in the campground, but not at Tsek Hot Springs. Please keep your pets quiet, on a leash, and under your supervision at your campsite.
Is there a store or restaurant?
There is no restaurant or food available for purchase at Tsek Hot Springs. The small store found at the gatehouse offers some basic personal items, but all visitors are encouraged to bring everything they need with them. The nearest restaurants and convenience stores are located in Pemberton.
Is there cell service available?
Cell service is neither available at Tsek Hot Springs nor along the In-SHUCK-ch Forest Service Road. We invite you to enjoy being unplugged during your visit and savour the peace and quiet of nature.
